A downed fighter has ten seconds to rise or the referee ends it. Striking an opponent who is down is a disqualification, with possible forfeiture of purse. Reading the Odds
Books publish the same price three different ways, and most apps let you switch notation in settings.
American odds
A minus number is the amount you stake to win 100. A plus number is the amount you win from a stake of 100. At -200, a $100 bet returns $50 profit and $150 back in total. At +200, a $100 bet returns $200 profit and $300 back. The minus side is the favorite; the plus side is the underdog.
Decimal and fractional
Decimal odds show the total return per unit staked, stake included. 3.00 on a $100 bet returns $300. Fractional odds, the default on UK books, show profit against stake: 2/1 is the same price as +200 and the same as 3.00.
Implied probability and the book's cut
Convert a price to a percentage and you can see what the market thinks. For a negative price, divide the number by itself plus 100. For a positive price, divide 100 by the number plus 100.

Add the two sides of a real fight and the total lands above 100%. A KnuckleMania 6 preview published by Sports Betting Dime in February 2026 carried the Rothwell vs Arlovski main event at -210 and +160. Those convert to 67.7% and 38.5%, which sum to 106.2%. The 6.2 points above 100 is the house margin, and it is why a bettor who wins exactly half his bets at standard pricing still finishes down.
The Markets on a BKFC Card
Which of these appears depends on the book and on how big the fight is. The order below is roughly the order of reliability.
Moneyline
Pick the winner. This is the base market and the one that is almost always posted when a card is priced at all. BKFC bouts are scored by three judges on the 10-point must system, so a drawn card is possible; how a book handles a drawn moneyline is set in its house rules rather than on the bet slip, and we have not verified any specific operator's treatment. Find that rule before you need it.
Method of victory
Pick how the fight ends: KO/TKO, decision, or in some menus doctor stoppage as its own line. Because there are no submissions, a BKFC method market has fewer branches than the UFC market a bettor is likely used to, which means shorter prices on the obvious selections.
Round betting
Pick the winner and the round. Five rounds and two fighters gives ten fighter-round selections plus "goes to decision", so eleven live outcomes. A twelve-round boxing match offers twenty-five. The BKFC grid is small enough to read at a glance, which is also why it carries shorter prices than a round market in boxing.
Total rounds
An over/under on how long the fight lasts. With five rounds there are only four possible half-round lines, so in practice a card carries one or two. The detail that matters is the settlement point: combat sports totals resolve against a specific moment inside a round, and in a two-minute round the margin between over and under is half what it would be in a three-minute one. If the bet slip does not state the time, the house rules do.
Distance and props
"Goes the distance" is a straight yes/no on whether the fight reaches the final bell, and it is the cleanest way to express a view on a ten-minute fight. Knockdown totals and significant-strike lines are reported at a handful of mostly offshore books, but that reporting comes from gambling-affiliate pages rather than operator documentation and we have not confirmed either on a named card. In-play
At least one offshore operator advertises live bare knuckle markets; we could not verify an in-play BKFC market at a regulated US book. Either way, a bout with four one-minute breaks and ten minutes of action leaves very little runway for live pricing.
A note on event contracts
BKFC positions have shown up in odds comparisons alongside Kalshi and Polymarket, which are CFTC-registered event-contract exchanges rather than sportsbooks: you buy a contract that settles at 100 or 0 instead of taking a price from a book. What Five Two-Minute Rounds Do to the Bet Slip
Start with the arithmetic, because it drives everything else. A BKFC bout is five two-minute rounds, ten minutes maximum. A twelve-round championship boxing match is thirty-six minutes. A five-round MMA title fight is twenty-five. Anyone porting round-total instincts from either of those to a BKFC card is working from a clock two to three times too long.

The Result Most Guides List and Never Explain
A cut that impairs vision triggers a 30-second treatment window, and the bout can be halted outright if bleeding cannot be controlled. Between rounds a ringside physician inspects both fighters and can end the bout if an injury is serious or likely to worsen, at which point the opponent wins by TKO via doctor stoppage. That is a scheduled review on a fixed clock, not a freak event, which is why the outcome table above gives it its own row. The working expectation for a numbered BKFC card: moneyline once the card is priced at all, derivatives on the main event and maybe the co-main, most of it posting late in fight week. Title fights and KnuckleMania cards get deeper menus than a regional Friday show. If the market you want is not up yet, waiting is usually the answer rather than opening an account somewhere else.

Now settle them against one result. Fighter A opens a cut over B's eye, and the physician ends the bout in the break after round three. The moneyline pays. Under 3.5 pays, because round four never started. "Goes the distance: no" pays. Round 2 loses. Decision loses. And "A by KO/TKO" is the ticket you now have to go and look up, because whether a doctor stoppage sits inside that selection is the settlement gap described above.
Five of those six markets resolve the moment the fight is waved off. The sixth depends on a definition buried in a rules tab, and no amount of reading the fight will tell you which way it goes.
Placing the Bet, Step by Step
- Confirm you can bet legally where you physically are. Age minimums are 21 in most US states and 18 in the UK, and geolocation is enforced by the app, not by your billing address.
