PRIVACY POLICY

The short version: we don't collect personal data, we don't run ads, and we don't track you across sites.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Server logs. Standard request logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, request path, referer) are recorded for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting. These are retained for a short rolling window and never linked to identity.

Cookies. The site uses site-essential cookies only — for example, to remember a theme or interaction state on the page. We do not set tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

WHAT WE DO NOT COLLECT

  • No third-party advertising trackers. No Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, ad-network beacons, or behavioral profiling.
  • No third-party analytics. No Google Analytics or comparable cross-site analytics on this site.
  • No newsletter list. The site does not run a newsletter currently. If we ever launch one, signup will be explicit opt-in only.
  • No fingerprinting. We don't profile devices, canvas-fingerprint, or attempt to re-identify users across visits.
  • No selling of any data. We don't sell, rent, or license user data to anyone, ever.

EMBEDDED CONTENT

Some pages embed videos hosted on third-party platforms (primarily YouTube). When you load a page with an embedded video, the third-party platform may set its own cookies and collect its own data. We don't control that data flow — consult the platform's privacy policy. To minimize this, embeds are loaded on demand wherever possible.

Outbound links to external sites (organization websites, news outlets, social media) are also subject to the privacy policies of those sites once you click through.

HOSTING & INFRASTRUCTURE

The site is hosted on infrastructure that processes requests, logs traffic, and applies CDN caching. Standard server-log data is processed by these providers as a necessary part of serving the site. We do not share user data with these providers beyond what they need to process and serve a request.

YOUR RIGHTS

We don't hold personal data in user-identifiable form, so there's nothing for us to retrieve, export, or delete on request. If that ever changes — for example, if we introduce a newsletter or user accounts — this page will be updated and you will be told what we hold and how to control it.

CHANGES

If this policy changes materially we'll update the “last reviewed” date below and note the change at the top of the page. Trivial copyedits are silent.
