2026 is shaping up to be the biggest year in BKFC history. From the groundbreaking $25 million tournament to international expansion and record-breaking events, bare knuckle boxing's leading promotion continues to push boundaries. This running review covers every major moment of the year.
This article is updated throughout 2026 as major events occur. Sections covering the $25 million tournament were corrected on August 16, 2026 after this page carried results for a first round that was never held.
Q1 2026: January - March
The $25M Tournament Does Not Launch
Corrected August 16, 2026. This section previously reported a first round of the $25 million tournament held on March 8 in Tampa, with named results and guaranteed purses. That event did not happen and those results were not real.
What actually occurred is the opposite of a launch. BKFC announced the tournament in July 2025 with a March 2026 start date, and March 2026 passed without a bout. BKFC president David Feldman confirmed in June 2026 that the project had moved to 2027, and in July 2026 FOX Nation announced it as a competition series premiering in summer 2027. The documented timeline is on our $25 million tournament status page.
KnuckleMania VI (February 2026)
BKFC's flagship annual event broke its own records for the third consecutive year. KnuckleMania VI featured five title fights and drew an estimated 250,000 PPV buys. The main event championship bout was an instant classic.
BKFC Fight Night Series
The regular Fight Night series continued with monthly events across the United States. Notable cards in Q1 included events in Miami, Dallas, and Phoenix. The Fight Night format has become BKFC's bread and butter, developing talent for bigger stages.
International Expansion Continues
BKFC confirmed new market launches in India (with Tiger Shroff involvement) and Australia. The UK operation held its second event in London to strong attendance.

BKFC's 2026 moves have broader industry implications:
- The $25M tournament, if it is ever staged, would legitimise bare knuckle as a tier-one combat sport. It has been announced twice and contested never.
- International franchise model (BKFC UK, BKFC Thailand, etc.) creates global infrastructure
- The fighter equity program continues to differentiate BKFC from competitors
- Conor McGregor's ownership stake continues to drive mainstream media coverage
